After my graduation from the University of Oregon in June, I decided to drive and tent camp across the country in my 2002 Ford Ranger with my parents’ old Canon 2002R film camera (I’m just now seeing this 2002 pattern). I hit 13 states, stopped in 17 National Parks, and filled up 7 rolls of 35mm film on my month-long journey.
This was my first time working with film, and I loved the idea of taking a picture and hoping for the best. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the trip (in chronological order from Oregon to Pennsylvania).
