The past two years, I have been able to design team gear and merchandise for the Oregon Men’s Lacrosse Team. This includes shirts, shorts, hoodies, sweatpants, gloves, jerseys, helmets, and bags, all tailored to fit the University of Oregon’s brand. I’ve handled all aspects of the design and purchasing of gear, from Photoshop mockups, to navigating rules with the University’s Licensing department, to communication with suppliers about fabrics, SKUs, and quantities. It’s been one of my favorite parts of my college experience to design and produce this gear for the team, and has taught me the importance of clear communication when handling a multi-item order with many moving parts.
