Oregon Army ROTC x Oregon Men’s Lacrosse Military Uniform Reveal

Around September of 2024, our team President told us that we had the opportunity to create a military uniform for our annual matchup versus Oregon State. Immediately, I began thinking of ideas for the uniform reveal shoot. My most outlandish idea yet, I thought, “What if we could take pictures inside a helicopter or a tank or something?” In December, I reached out to the head of Oregon Army ROTC, and asked if we could make something happen. In exchange for promotion on our page (and a free jersey to hang in their headquarters), our team was able to drive up to Salem to the National Guard airport and do a photoshoot with an Apache military helicopter. This post was our biggest hit of the season, gaining nearly 8,000 likes and over 90,000 views. It was a super cool project, and taught me that sometimes, all you have to do is ask.
